We prepare the land and plant your trees in the next planting season, in spring or autumn, using seedlings from a local nursery.
We look after the forest as it grows and report on its progress every year.
Before anything is planted, we find land where a forest can grow well. We test the soil, choose the trees that suit it best and prepare the ground. All our forests are planted on former grassland, so every tree adds a new forest instead of replacing an old one.
Trees can only be planted in spring and autumn, when the ground is moist and the seedlings take root easily. The seedlings come from a local nursery that grows plants for northern soils; no foreign seeds or plants are used.
After planting, the forest is managed according to our Forest Management Methodology, developed together with scientists and universities. We follow how the trees grow and send everyone who planted a yearly update.
